Now in stock with us here at RFH Classics we have this 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟎 (𝐖) 𝐕𝐚𝐮𝐱𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐕𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝟐.𝟓 𝐕𝟔 𝐆𝐒𝐢 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 finished Metallic Silver complete with the GSi detailed Recaro Seats in Grey Cloth. This rare and sought after modern classic can only be described as an exceptional example of one of Vauxhall’s finest performance cars on the 90’s and with just 92,175 miles, this GSi still remains a thrilling driver’s car while offering practicality and collectability in equal measure. Visually, the GSi stood apart from the other models with its aggressive factory fitted Irmscher body kit that comprised of a deeper front bumper, side skirts, rear spoiler and the unique 17-inch Alloy Wheels. To help with the handling it was fitted with uprated sports suspension and larger brakes to ensure that it wasn’t just about straight line speed and may have even made it one of the most capable front wheel drive estate cars of its era. When new Vauxhall produced just 317 of the GSi Estate cars and while we cannot confirm how many are now left, we can say that there are not going to be more than a handful now.

The Vectra GSi was the range topping performance model of the Vectra B that was developed with input from Lotus to fine tune its handling and chassis. Powered by a 2.5 V6 that produced an impressive 192 bhp, it delivered strong performance with a 0-60 mph time of around 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 146 mph, impressive for what was fundamentally a family estate car. The power was delivered via the close ratio five speed manual gearbox complete with the distinctive Stainless Silver Gear knob. The GSi was well equipped and came compete with the distinctive Recaro seats to the front with the unique GSi detailing that were equipped with pump lumber support, the Irmscher styling kit, unique alloys, stylish roof rails, electric windows, trip computer, remote locking and the load net to the boot area. To accompany the car in the office we have a very comprehensive history file for the car with extensive old MOT tests, stamped service book, Vauxhall owner’s handbook and wallet and 2 keys. Unlike many of these the bodywork is in impeccable condition with no signs of the tell tale rot around the styling kit and an MOT history that is equally as clean. Prior to leaving us the car will be given a new MOT test to ensure continuity of this.

Today, the Vectra GSi Touring is an incredibly rare find with only a limited number surviving in enthusiast ownership. When new the nature of the car meant many were driven hard and lost to time, making well a well preserved examples like this highly desirable among collectors and Vauxhall enthusiasts alike and a fantastic opportunity to own a rapidly disappearing piece of Vauxhall’s performance history.
