VANDEN PLAS PRINCESS

Just arrived with us here at RFH Classics we have this truly stunning example of a 1970 Vanden Plas Princess 1300 Auto finished in a very period Brown exterior colour and complimented by the Cream Leather interior trim. A quick look on How Many Left will confirm this is now a rare car to find on the road and one in this superb condition, is even rarer. The car has only had 3 owners in total and clearly all of those keepers have maintained this car to the highest of standards. Being a Vanden Plas it comes with all the luxuries expected in a bigger car but not very often found in this model, there are the wonderful cream leather seats that are just so comfortable and then when you sit in the car you are greeted with wonderful wooden door capping and wooden dash, which incidentally are in fabulous condition. Take a seat in the rear and there will find a fold down arm rest and two fold out wooden seat back tables that are again in great condition and come complete with the chrome cup stand.

This particular example is the 1300 Auto and after driving it personally I can confirm the gearbox works perfectly through all the gears. Under the bonnet is the Austin 1300 engine that as this is the Vanden Plas Princess edition comes complete with the chrome rocker cover that sets it apart from the other models. This is truly a one of the cleanest 1300 we have seen and coupled with the great drive i for sure going to make someone a great classic to own and already benefits from having rear seat belts fitted making it a safe one to take the friends or grand children out in.

Although this car is exempt from needing an MOT included in our screen price we supply this car with a new MOT and 3 months warranty. This vehicle is eligible for zero rated historic road tax which when coupled with the low cost to insure these cars makes it a very cost effective classic to own.
