The Overdrive works well and as it should and we have just had the rear brakes overhauled and new calipers and flexi-hoses fitted to the front along with a fresh MOT and oil service. The previous owner fitted the chrome roll over bars for additional protection and in our opinion they suit the car well. The TR6 was by far the most popular model Triumph built and only surpassed by the TR7 although for pure classic looks surely the TR6 has to be the one to have tucked away in the garage !! One of the most surprising things I've recently learnt was that of the 91,850 TR6's produced, 83,480 were exported; only 8,370 were sold in the UK so if you are looking for a great British Sports car from the 70's then this one has to be high on the list.
