Now in stock with us here at RFH Classics we have this very clean 1973 (L) Triumph TR6 2.5 Convertible finished in Yellow with the contrasting Black leather trim. The car has been the subject of an extensive restoration which is supported with a substantial history file. The exterior has a deep shine and good panel gaps all complemented by the original road wheel with chrome trims. Under the bonnet the straight 6 cylinder engine fires to life with an enchanting roar and sounds wonderful through the twin piped exhaust emerging from the rear of the car. The engine is paired to a 4 speed manual gearbox that has a fully working Overdrive.

Inside the car the interior features upgraded Black leather seats which are really comfortable. The carpets and other trim, also finished in Black, are in very good condition and the whole cabin is complemented by the wooden dash and matching Mota-lita steering wheel. The roof is Black vinyl and benefits from the opening rear window which is nice for additional ventilation on a cooler day. To finish off the look when the roof is folded down there is a half tonneau to cover the frame. The Triumph TR6 was the best-selling Triumph in history when production ended in 1976 with more than 94,000 being built altogether interestingly ninety per cent of them to US specification and some may even say it was the one of the best Triumph built. This car will come with extensive paperwork including invoices for work undertaken and a substantial amount of old MOT tests. We are advised that the original speedo has been replaced when it failed, this was done when it was displaying 60k. The mileage in the advert we believe to be the total amount covered but like all our classics we are unable to warrant mileages.
