With us here at RFH Classics we are delighted to welcome this charming 1967 (E) MGB 1.8 Roadster. Finished in the rarely seen Mineral Blue, a colour that was only available for the 1966 and 1967 model years, the car is in excellent condition and is a distinctive and period correct example. To give you a background about this car past it has recently come to us from long term previous ownership after clearly having being cherished by its former local owner since 2009 and now only available due to the former owner’s ill health.

The specification makes this car highly appealing and includes the original style Black Leather seats with blue piping accompanied by a lovely set of grey carpets that really help complement the interior. As an early car this one features the detachable Double Duck roof retaining an authentic character of the car as well also giving a generous bonus space behind the front seats. To complete the look of the car comes complete with a set of powder coated Wire Wheels helping to finish the desired classic sports car appearance.

Under the bonnet sits the familiar and lively 1.8-litre B-Series lead free petrol engine paired to a 4 speed manual gearbox complete with a fully working 3rd and 4th gear Overdrive helping to deliver the kind of spirited, enjoyable drive that made the MGB such a hit then and still so today.

Accompanying the car on its next chapter we have compiled the cars paperwork into one of our RFH Classics presentation folders which now is complete with details of the restoration program undertaken, extensive old MOT tests dating back to 1971 as well as receipts for service work and an original MGB owner’s manual.

As part of the preparation for sale we have undertaken a service and despite being exempt under historic car guidelines the car now benefits from a new MOT valid until 2nd July 2026 providing additional peace of mind about the car’s condition for the new owner.
