With us here at RFH Classics we are delighted to bring you this 1977 (S) MG Midget 1500 Roadster that has recently been the subject of a comprehensive restoration programme to both the exterior and interior. The exterior, which is finished in the period correct Tahiti Blue perfectly compliments the contrasting Black trim with the whole car presenting beautifully and ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.

To compliment the fresh exterior repaint the original MG Rostyle wheels have been upgraded with a new set of Anthracite and Chrome Minilite style wheels complete with new tyres which not only enhance the car’s appearance but also improve its ride on the road. Under the bonnet sits the well proven 1500cc 4 cylinder lead free engine paired to a manual 4 speed gearbox. The engine fires into life easily with minimal choke and quickly settles to a smooth running unit with good oil pressure. As part of our preparation we have just completed an engine service, replaced the water pump as well as undertaking a fresh, independent MOT test which has no advisories and offers reassurance to the next owner.

During the restoration the interior was treated to a new set of Black vinyl seat covers, complete trim kit and then finished off with a new matching Black carpet set all of which come together to provide a clean and smart cabin. Protection from the elements is provided by a new vinyl roof which in this case features a zip down rear window, an unusual but desirable addition that is not often found on the Midgets.
