Just arrived in stock with us at RFH Classics we are delighted to offer this 1973 (L) MGB Roadster 1.8 finished in the wonderfully period and highly desirable Blaze Orange and complemented by a Black Vinyl interior trim, a colour combination that perfectly captures the character and style of the 1970’s British sports car era.

Fresh into stock with us, this lovely example is currently undergoing our usual preparation process however already presents as a very smart and enjoyable usable classic. The car benefits from the dependable 1800cc 4 cylinder lead free petrol engine which is paired to a 4 speed manual gearbox complete with fully operational overdrive on both 3rd and 4th gears helping make the car equally enjoyable on longer journeys as well as relaxed local drives.

As part of our initial preparation the car has just been serviced and we have fitted a replacement brake servo as well as inspecting beneath the chrome oversill covers to ensure there were no hidden concerns.

Externally the cars appearance is enhanced by the fitting of the chrome restyle road wheels something that help distinguish the car from a more standard example while still retaining a very period appearance. Completing the look is the Black vinyl hood, ready for those occasions when the ever unpredictable British weather decides open top motoring may need to pause temporarily.

When first introduced in 1962, the MGB Roadster quickly became one of Britain’s most successful and recognisable sports cars thanks to its excellent balance of usability, reliability and timeless styling. The car qualifies for historic road tax and benefits from being ULEZ exempt. Although vehicles of this age are MOT exempt, as part of our preparation process the car will be supplied with a fresh MOT test providing additional peace of mind for the next owner. As a classic it is eligible for low-cost classic car insurance and is supplied with 3 months major mechanical warranty. All of our vehicles are sold clear of finance or insurance damage with a certificate provided at handover. We recommend using premium unleaded fuel (E5) in all of our classic vehicles.
