With us at RFH Classics we are delighted to offer this very striking 2018 Mercedes-Benz E220d AMG Line Premium Coupe Auto, finished in the rarely seen Hyacinth Red Metallic and complemented by a Black AMG interior. With its elegant pillarless Coupe profile, AMG styling and 20-inch Turbine-style Anthracite Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, this is an E-Class that certainly stands apart from the more commonly seen colours.

We originally sourced this particular car for my own use, so condition, specification and history were especially important when choosing it. Having now used the car regularly, it is one we have come to know particularly well. The AMG Line Premium specification gives an excellent combination of sporting appearance and luxury, with one of its nicest features being the full-opening panoramic electric sunroof which makes a considerable difference to the cabin, particularly with the roof open on a bright day.

Power comes from the 2.0-litre E220d diesel engine paired with Mercedes-Benz’s 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox. It’s a combination particularly well suited to the character of the E-Class Coupe, remaining refined around town while making the car an exceptionally comfortable long-distance and motorway companion.

Inside, the cabin is one of the highlights of the C238 generation, with its sweeping dashboard, ambient mood lighting and excellent driving position. Both front seats are heated and feature multi-way electric adjustment with three-position memory, while the Premium specification provides the level of comfort expected of an E-Class Coupe. The car also benefits from an aftermarket OE-specification Apple CarPlay integration, providing modern smartphone connectivity while retaining the appearance and operation of the original Mercedes system.

Further specification includes the full-opening panoramic electric sunroof, 20-inch Turbine-style Anthracite Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels with quality matching tyres, electric boot release, colour satellite navigation, DAB radio and the extensive comfort and convenience equipment associated with the AMG Line Premium model.

The maintenance history is equally reassuring. The service record shows seven Mercedes-Benz main-dealer services, followed by a further service carried out by a Bosch specialist in May 2026. Now showing 60,100 miles, the combination of regular maintenance and continued use makes this a particularly well-known car to us.

Overall, this is a particularly attractive example of the E-Class Coupe, combining the unusual Hyacinth Red Metallic paintwork with an excellent specification, strong maintenance history and the elegant pillarless design that makes the C238 such an appealing Coupe. Having used the car ourselves, we can also say from experience that it makes an exceptionally comfortable and capable car for both everyday and longer-distance use.

The Mercedes is ULEZ compliant and comes with an MOT through to July 2027. It will be supplied with our 3-month warranty together with a vehicle history certificate confirming no outstanding finance or recorded insurance loss.
