FORD FOCUS

With here at RFH Classics we have this 2000 (X) Ford Focus 2.0 16v Ghia 5 Dr finished in Aquamarine Frost Metallic with Parchment Venice cloth trim. Now while not a traditional classic the early Focus, which probably the best driving Focus they built, is rare to find with such a low mileage and only having 2 owners from new. The car was purchased back in 2023 by the second owner but prior to this the original owner purchased the car from Chiltern Ford in Sudbury and subsequently had the car serviced by them 30 times over her 23 years of ownership all of which are recorded in the accompanying service book. The car, which looks great in the Aquamarine, is in excellent with just a small amount of oxidation to the Alloy wheels but nothing that detracts from the car.

Internally the Parchment Venice cloth trim is virtually unmarked and features the polished wood detailing to the dash and centre console. Being the Ghia model the car comes with the benefit of the Quickclear heated screen, Electric Windows all round, Remote Central Locking, Electric Adjust Mirrors, Electric Height Adjuster to the Drivers Seat, Centre Rear Armrest, Driver and Passenger Airbags, Digital Trip Meter and Tinted Glass. A nice addition is that the rear window still features the Chiltern Garage supplying dealer sticker although i believe the garage is now part of the Lookers group.

Under the bonnet there is the 2.0 16v Zetec engine fitted, this is paired to a 5 speed manual gearbox and for additional peace of mind we have just had the cam belt replaced. The last service recorded in the service history was @ 46,255 miles but when the cam belt was replaced we also had new front discs, pads and a replacement caliper fitted. The car will also be supplied with four new tyres and the has had the underside rust treated. As part of the service history we have 20 of the old MOT tests here in the office along with the original sales brochure, accessory leaflets and full black cloth book pack supplied with the car from new.
