TRIUMPH STAG

Just arrived with us at RFH Classics we have this 1977 (R) Triumph Stag 3.0 manual finished in Leyland White with Half Black Leather & Alcantara trim. As the pictures show this MKII Stag is excellent in every way and is one of those cars that can claim to truly have been the subject of a nut and bolt rebuild. The former owner had always wanted to own a stag but never found one that meet the standard he wanted so he decided to rebuild himself a car. Starting with a less than attractive brown doner car this car was subjected to an amazing 18 months restoration program with everything being replaced and restored and resulting in one of the nicest example we have seen.

During the rebuild the original 3.0 Triumph engine was removed from the car and subjected to a complete rebuild as was the gearbox and the running gear. The body was bare metal striped and then professionally repaired, sealed before being repainted to an original Triumph White. A matching hardtop is included with the car and has also been professionally restored. When the car was being refitted the owner decided he wanted to lose the original vinyl covering and elected to retrim the car in a combination of Black Leather and Alcantara resulting in a beautiful look to the cabin of the car. The original dash was stripped and the wood expertly refinished so sitting in the cabin gives you a great feeling. One of the big benefits of the Stag has to be the rear seats which is great for adults and children and means that the whole family can enjoy the car. As a MKII the car features Alloy Wheels which have been fully refurbished by Mint Alloys and really set of this stunning car. If you are looking for excellent example of a Stag then this car has to one of the first you need to see, no its not a ten thousand pound basket case this is probably one of the nicest examples available for sale today.
