ROVER MINI

With us at RFH Classics we have this 1995 (M) Rover Mini 35 Anniversary, a Special Edition that is finished in the stunning Pearlescent Nevada Red with contrasting Blue-and-Pink Velour trim. The Anniversary was a car built to celebrate the 35th Anniversary and was a limited production run of just a thousand cars made in 3 colours although Nevada arguably being the most striking. On the outside the car featured the special paint finish along with a chrome grille and door handles, unique 35 Side and Rear decals and a 35 Bonnet badge to identify the model. Inside the car came with the Jamboree Blue-and-Pink cloth trim that extended to the door cards and featured a 35 steering wheel.

When produced the Mini 35 was the last production Mini to have the 1275cc Carb engine making them very popular as they offered Cooper performance with a lower insurance bracket and plenty of tuning potential id required. The car has a 4 speed manual gearbox and after giving the car a good run we can confirm both the engine and gearbox all work very well. In the history file we have an original copy of the sales brochure which is a lovely touch. The 35 was originally came with steel wheels and trims but this example now features Minilite style Alloy wheels complete with 35 centre caps that really help to give the car some presence. To accompany the car there is a great history file which includes a Handbook Pack with a Service book containing 10 stamps confirming the mileage. In addition the file contains all the old MOT tests for the car back to 1998.
