Available with us at RFH Classics we are now offering our own trusted car transporter, a 2016 (16) Mercedes-Benz 313 CDI LWB Car Transporter. We have happily owned this since March 2021 and have recently took the decision to replace it with a new model. We are the second owner of this truck and during our ownership it has only had light usage, always with our own drivers, collecting or delivering our own classic car stock. Since we purchased it we have added an additional 34,000 miles bringing the total mileage to 165,057..

The truck started life as a drop side vehicle and was company maintained with it having a service print out showing 5 services conducted. Whilst under our ownership it has benefitted from 6 additional services as well as a gearbox rebuild including new flywheel and clutch, rear brake overhaul, new alternator and all the recall work completed by Mercedes main agents including the recent driver’s airbag and ECU recall. The truck has been faultless and enjoyed a comprehensive and continuous service history from new.

The drop side body was removed in early 2021 and replaced with the custom build transporter body. We purchased it 2 months after this and can confirm the body has worked well with features such as low entry load design with extended folding ramps that have all new hinges. This makes it very suitable for loading low slung classic cars. There is an electric winch with remote control fitted with a full set of straps included. The rear suspension is equipped with pneumatic air bags with in cab inflation controls. The truck has lots of practical features include such as an LED strobe recovery beacon, LED floor and load area lighting, illuminated safety side markers making this a vehicle for both day and night use.

The cab presents superbly with all seats having been covered from new. We had the driver’s seat base cushion replaced in January 2024 and the cab features equipment like Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control with speed limiter and tinted windows. Supplied with two keys and tyre that are at around 50% tread.

This is a well proven, reliable and very well maintained transporter ready for you to use immediately. It has always been stored inside our dry storage unit and we have just had a new MOT Test and service done ready for sale, ideal for trade or private collection duties.
