Here at RFH Classics we are delighted to offer this increasingly rare and beautifully preserved 1995 (N) BMW 328i (E36) 4 Door saloon finished in the striking solid shade of Hellrot Red and complemented by a very original and unworn grey velour interior. A credit to its previous owner, this car has clearly been cherished and offers a wonderful opportunity to own one of BMW’s most iconic modern classics.

Under the bonnet lies BMW’s well proven 2793cc straight-six engine, widely celebrated for its smooth power delivery, refined engineering and outstanding reliability. Turn the key and the straight six gives you a wonderful sound that can only be found with that smooth six cylinder engine. Paired to the 5 Speed manual gearbox, the 328i engine provides an engaging driving experience that balanced spirited performance with executive comfort. The E36 was a major step forward for BMW in terms of chassis dynamics and refinement with the introduction of a more modern suspension setup and an improved cabin environment making it one of the most rewarding saloons of its era to drive.

This car comes with an appealing backstory, one of the cars previously owners had the car featured in Practical Classics magazine as one of the Series Winners, a testament to the car’s standout condition and careful ownership. Interestingly, he knew the son of the owner who purchased the BMW back in 2003 and it was through this connection that he was able to acquire the car, and it is clear from its current condition that it has continued to be very well looked after. Supporting paperwork includes a service book with twelve recorded services up to 83,617 miles of which nine are BMW main agent. Alongside this there are MOT tests dating from 1999 to present bar a period between 2022 and 2024 when the car was SORN’d.

Cosmetically, it is a delight. The bodywork remains in exceptional condition, showing only light age-related patina and presenting with a deep gloss shine to the Hellrot Red paint. The original alloy wheels are remarkably clean and all wear matching Goodyear 205/60 R15 tyres. As mentioned, the grey velour interior remains in superb, unspoiled order and features Electric windows to the front and rear as well as an Electric sunroof, part of a high specification that makes this car both comfortable and engaging to own.
